1. Story Submissions

By submitting a story to Missing Hill Town, you confirm that:

• The story is your original work or you have full rights to submit it.
• The story does not infringe on any third-party intellectual property.
• You grant Missing Hill Town a non-exclusive, worldwide license to produce, adapt, publish, and monetize the story across all platforms.
• You retain authorship credit and your original copyright.

2. Payment & Rewards

• $50 USD — paid when your story is selected for production (before filming/recording begins).
• +$50 USD — paid when the episode's first published video hits 100,000 views on any single platform.
• +$100 USD — paid when the episode's first published video hits 1,000,000 views on any single platform.
• Maximum total: $200 USD per story, regardless of how many episodes or how many platforms the story appears on.
• View counts are measured on the first episode published from the story, not cumulative across all episodes.
• Payment via PayPal or bank transfer. You are responsible for any applicable taxes in your jurisdiction.

3. Editorial Rights

Missing Hill Town reserves the right to edit, adapt, translate, or restructure submitted stories for production. We may split a story into multiple episodes, change character names, or alter minor plot details for pacing. The core story concept and authorship remain yours.

4. Rejection

We review all submissions within 2–4 weeks. Rejected stories will receive a notification email. We are not obligated to provide feedback on rejected submissions.

5. Content Guidelines

We accept horror, supernatural, psychological thriller, and mystery genres. We do not accept:

• Content that glorifies real-world violence or targets real individuals.
• Content involving minors in inappropriate situations.
• Plagiarized or AI-generated content submitted as original human work.

6. Copyright

All produced content — narration, video, artwork, music — is © Missing Hill Town 2026. Submitted story text remains © the original author.
